COE 41 or 42?

    The side windows on 46-47 ford and mercury trucks have a steel frame around the gl***. This can be eliminated by cutting the gl*** bigger. The side gl*** is the same as conventional trucks. The 47 models have a vin tag that was screwed to the outside of the firewall on the p***enger side, if your truck is a 47 you should be able to see the screw holes. Not a good picture but here’s the chunk of frame with my vin. Hard to see at the best of time but the numbers show well with a pencil and paper rub. 37F9B072-1523-4EE3-A959-017453A98586.jpeg

    Thank you shopdawg, it was 14 degrees this morning, but I had to go out and look. I'm a little slow, I got it now, you mean the window has a steel frame around the gl***. Drivers side has a frame, p***engers' side none, but I know that window has been replaced. Back to my dilemma.... I can see your numbers, faint as they are I would not of missed them when I was looking.
    Would this picture of the firewall show the holes you are talking about? Again, Thanks for the help!! 8.jpg
