While trying to make a plan on how to tackle the inside door trim, I rethreaded some nuts so it can accept some metric ss bolts. After the re-threading, it was time to attack trim.

I decided to start on the lower part of the trim, cutting the rear corner off and clamped it into place. Then reworked the corner piece with a dolly and hammer in order to make it fit. Welded it in place and got the Dremel out once again.

Man what tedious job it is trying to get it to fit and flow. I now realize why there are a few customs out there that are driving around without chopped door trims. Hope to finish it off tomorrow.

Look what just arrived on my doorstep.....an article in a Dutch custom magazine! Everything written in the article is straight from the Hamb, including the photos. Still nice to see it in ink though!:D:D:D

    Congrats Farmer!

EDIT I found the magazine website
    http://www.kr8cruisemagazine.nl/
Guess I gotta try the local news stand to see if they can get a copy.
If not, I'll try the contact page to see if they can ship a copy to me.

Thanks Finnrodder. Next time another article appears I'll make sure it's in English. (or even Finnish maybe)

Thanks RodStRace! If you have difficulty in getting one let me know.

Congrats on the magazine coverage. I see you use a Dremel alot, do you like using that better than an air powered die grinder?

Very cool! Frame that thing up immediately! That is the kind of publicity that will have people knocking on your door for just about anything. You are well on your way on being an award winner with this badass coupe.

    Can you say world tour?!?!:D:D

Now please convert to something I can read. haha.

Thanks plmczy! I use a normal grinder for most of the work and the Dremel for thos hard to get to places.

    Thanks Rock!

Thanks 1959apache! If I get enough sponsors, I'd be glad to take the car to the US when it's finished.:D:D:D

Thanks Keith and Bill. It's not a TRJ article but it's a start. You have to start somewhere. I did have contact with TRJ, and they said they don't mind if the car is featured somewhere else during the build process as long as I keep them updated regarding the progress and mail them the pics of the car when it's finished so they can decide. Now if that isn't incentive, I don't know what is!:D:D:D
