  1. Drop it off at my scrap yard.

I’ll build a cruiser out of it

Why would he be rolling in his grave? The condition of the car is not that terrible and it is still recognizable as what it is or was. Most other race cars from that era are long gone.

I don't know why people are upset, it was modified & raced with the section in period...

Everybody keeps mentioning the sectioning, I'm certainly no custom or body work expert but I think they cut the bottom off the car and then adjusted everything to fit.

True enough but I still don’t think he would approve of the changes to his car.
Just because it’s identifiable doesn’t make it right.

What the car needs is a well healed "ANGEL" to take the reins and fix the poor thing!

  7. Rolling in their grave is a phrase used by the living to project opinions using the dead as an excuse.

    It’s no longer “his” car.

    current owner can do whatever
    The sectioning is kinda cool.

Wait just a damn minute... wasn't it campaigned with Ollie's name on it, in this iteration? What's the problem? Jesus Christ guys, lighten up, it's the real deal!

It's pretty obvious he is the one that made those changes.

All indications are that he did and it was done in the later 60s.

Did you miss the pictures of the sectioned car with Ollie's name on the side?

Yep same here just wish people had some integrity on marketplace. She literally had me hitch up the trailer and on my way to Miami and called it off. Then strung me along for a week now she’s avoiding my calls and the car is marked pending. my nerves are shot

That's a damn crying shame, how they let it go like that.

Two weeks I’ve been fighting to look at the car.
she waited till late last night to tell me to be there by 9am and I’m up in Tampa. Needless to say I’ve been up since 10 am yesterday and I still got a couple hrs driving to do. Oh and the guy had the nerve to pitch a fit when I offered 13k lol

It was definitely sectioned through the center of the body between the door hinges. Check the distance between the door hinges on a stock bodied Willys vs the Ollie one.

Yes I saw that also, I just think that sectioning is a time consuming custom thing. Cutting the bottom of the car off, channeling it and moving the hinges so that they clear the fenders is something a racer would do to not lose the racing season. Without looking at the inside of the doors we may never know.

I'm a Willys owner and i think it was cut through the middle and the body is not channeled. JW
