Hot Rods 42-47 Open drive banjo parallel leaf spring mounting.

Is there anything special about the stock u-bolt plates for a 42-47 Ford Truck banjo? I have never seen one in a stock chassis, just laying on the floor bare. Does it require different size ubolts due to the taper?

I fully understand I may be over thinking this.
