Technical 42-48 Ford parallel leaf spring.

    Try Yogisinc.com I bought the rear spring kit for my 37 Chevy from Yogis they have been a stocking dealer for chassis engineering . And even tho chassis engineering is gone Yogis is showing your Ford kit on the web site. May be they still have some stock.

    That's pretty low. Did you C-notch the rear frame so the axle doesn't hit it when you go over bumps? Mine's not quite as low as yours yet and I'm still worried I'll need to notch the frame. I changed out the original bump stops to Energy Suspension versions I got from CE that are shorter.

    no C notch, no bumpstops ,good shocks, no bottoming out.

    thank you sir, now I just need the mounting brackets, and I have my own home made CE kit

    I don't remember which end of the shock it is, but one end you need to use a smaller ID bushing for the stock CE parts. So if you're making your own make them to fit the shocks as they come

    If you're still on here, 345winder, are there any particular years of S-10 rear leafs that work out well? I just bought a '48 Coupe and am considering possible directions to go with it. I just happen to have an '88 (?) donor S-10 here and am hoping those rear springs might be useable.

    I don't think I'd want to go as low as you did, and wondered what height lowering blocks you used? Just wondering what the height would be if you hadn't used the blocks? FWIW, I intend to retain the stock front axle, but would plan to reverse the spring eye, maybe remove a couple leaves of the spring and possibly make longer shackles for the front to get it down. I'm thinking I'd want the front down about 3" from stock and about 2-3" lower in the rear, retaining just a bit of rake, with perhaps 1" or slightly more of the rake coming from the tire sizes.

    This is what Chassis Engineering uses on their kits.
    They will need to be 48" eye-to-eye with the pin centered at 24".
    2" wide, 1" shackle busing eyelet and uses a 1/2" bolt in the front eye.
