Projects 42 Ford Panel project

I have a 42 Ford 1 ton panel truck I am starting on. I need help deciding which engine to use. I have 2 460s both out of 3/4 tons. 78 carb or 89 injected. I have both donar trucks complete. I will be using the 89 5 speed manual trans. This is going to be an everyday driver. I will be hauling heave loads up and down hills.

I appreciate all opinions.
