I have a 425 Cadillac motor that I am working on. I went to replace the valve seals and they are stuck to the block. The guy helping me actually broke part of the seal off the head, and the rest is not coming off. I have to pull the head now, but wondering if anyone has any insight or has done seal on a 425. Any help is appreciated!
Is it that the rubber seal is as hard as a rock? If so take small butane torch and heat them up to get them soft and pull them off with a pliers
