Technical 46-48 banjo hubs

I just picked up a 48 banjo for a future AV8 project and it's missing the drum and hub on one side(axle broke). It has the hub over drum style on it and the drums are hard to find. Can it be converted to the drum over hub and what ,if anything will need to be replaced?

Just get the earlier hubs and drums. It is a straight swap.

 

I'm working on pulling my 47 Ford rearend apart of you need any parts

 

Do the hubs and drums have to be swaged back together or can you get away without doing it??
