Need pics of 46-48 fleetlines to persuade my brother to sell me a car. Or to motivate him to finish it.

    According to this article. http://auto.howstuffworks.com/1946-1947-1948-chevrolet-stylemaster-fleetmaster-and-fleetline.htm
The 1946 Fleetline was the more expensive model of the 46 series, it was also the model with the lowest production #. Is this info correct. And does anyone have any other info like options and such that would come with this car?
    Some History of the Car:
My grandfather purchased a 1946 Chevrolet fleetline right after he returned from WWII. and the year before my mother was born. The car was driven until the original engine blew up in the early 80's.The car was then given to my parents in hopes that they would fix it up. The car was parked and covered with various objects(tarps, waterbed mattresses and it did wonders to the paint. ) until the early 90's. the car was then moved to about 4 different storage lots, and barns until 5 or so years ago. My brother then moved the car into his garage, and now it is covered with boxes and all kinds of s*$t. I am trying to persuade him to sell me the car. I would hate for it not to be completed, and he has so many other projects. So if you could post some pics of some completed projects so I can show him how it would look completed. He did purchase a 6 cylinder engine, unsure of year and size. What originally came in this car? but has failed to hook it up do the wiring or anything for the last 4 years Would anyone have a wiring diagram or is a 6 volt system not that complicated. Also the car has some pretty sweet pinstriping on the dash. I believe it was done by my uncle. Will try and post some pics later!

here's a pic of the 48 chevy fleetline that my dad built back in 1997. granted, it's a street rod, but it did have a few kustom things done to the body. radiused rear wheel wells, custom nerf bars, rolled rear pan, misc. body chrome removed.
    i loved this car.

Well, I don't have this anymore.............sold it to my brother in 1969, after having fun for over a year terrorizing the streets of Portland, OR.
She was a beauty, 327/4spd/57 rearend, 55 Chevy 1/2 Ton straight axle, Cragar SS's, and original paint and mohair interior...............loved that car and wish I had her today.......fast also!

I really like these two. I know the fist one is a 48 fleetline. I am unsure of the second. Also how come the emblem on the hood is different, is that a model or year difference?

The second one is a 42 or 46. 46 I think, as I believe the 42 had the turn lights mounted in the outer grille surround. I have a 48, like the 46 grille the best. Great cars.

I couldn't decide on just one. Got this car for my Dad years ago. Doesn't look like he'll see it finnished. I'm going to try and get it going good enough that he can ride in it though.
