Projects 46 Ford 1.5 ton Truck Project

    Haven't posted much in a while due to being out on the road and working on the farm. Finally got back on something thats hamb friendly. Started on getting my dad's 46 Ford 1.5 ton truck back on the road. He bought it back in 1973 and stored it inside since he owned it. Pulled the Flathead V8 and sent it off to the machine shop. Truck needs to be completely rewired. 7.50 x 20 tires are shot. Started pulling the front wheels and drums off to check out the front shoes and replace brake parts. Working on it slowly. Crappy pictures but the truck is stored in part of a building with not much light right now.

    Love big trucks but my guess is that your thread will be moved over to the "Antiquated" board. Plenty of big trucks over there. Good luck with your build.
