'46 Ford Frame width at the rear crossmeber ???

Hi, i don't have the original rear crossmeber for my '46
and need the mesuremntto weld the frame togehter(someone drilled ALL the rivets out).or the width of a crossmember.

If nobody replies by the time I get home from work- I will meaasure my 47 frame and tell you what it is. SHould be the same.

I have a piece I cut off my 46 frame, leaning against my garage, I'll measure it when I get home, in about a half hour. inside the frame and outside.

 

The frame rails are 40.25 inches wide on the inside edges, the rivet holes are 41.5" apart.

 

yep, I got 40.5 inches or 103 cm on my '47.

I have 44 1/2" outside to outside.

The crossmember overlaps the framerail 1 5/8" on top from the center.

Each framerail is about 2 1/8" wide at the crossmember.
