I am changing my 46 Coupe to open driveline. The rear wishbones are now attached to the torque tube, since that is going away, I need to attach them to the frame I assume. Anyone know of a plate to do this? or what have you done to addapt... I was thinking of a 3/16 plate from rail to rail with a large tab welded to it for the bones to be bolted to.
    Suggestions?

They are not strong enough to just connect them to the frame. The torque tube was most of the strength. You will need to make or buy some stronger radius rods.
