Easy one this time-Putting new kingpins in today..
    Where do the shims go?
    under the bearing?
on top of the bearing, below the axle?
    or above the axle?
and what sort of up-down play is acceptable?
do I shim it as tight as I can or leave some movement?
thankyou for being my workshop manual,as I dont got one.

    Anyone?
I had to cut the old kingpins out with the trusty flame spanner,so didnt note the assembly order. [IMG]

Shims go on top of the axle.As Little play as you can get.
Face the bearings down,so no water can collect in them.
