47-54 chevy pickup radiator

    I'm building a 54 AD truck with an LT1 engine. Need info on a radiator to use with that combination

    I used a "Desert Cooler" from U.S. radiator in an AD truck. I was running a big block chev with 400 turbo and a/c. It always ran in the 185-195 degree range. I had another AD truck with a brass works radiator. Again, this one ran cool. Good luck. Sam

    There are a number of good ones out there and the main thing is that this is one area you don't want to cut corners. I looked at the Desert Cooler that Mo Junk mentioned and it had the specs I wanted when I was planning on putting a 396 in the 48.
