Thanks love the simlplicity of your car dont be crazy like me and build a full fledge custom lol. Well were to start the body has been completely smoothed other than the handles and locks and after looking at th ecar the locks are going aswell welded the fenders to the body aswell as the hood getting ready to open the top of the hood pancake style and i like the tilt only to work on it the big fenders are hard to work around, smoothed deck side trim also the firewall master cyindler on the frame car has a mid 70's Amc pacer front end disc brakes rack etc. rear is narrowed 9" 4.56 gears with a 4 link and air ride at four corners engine is close to going to the machinist its a 1970 400 4 bolt block will be a 406 with 6" rods and 210 AFR heads etc running fender well coated headers basicly a super smooth and clean hot rod that will have an older feel to it still no modern gauges etc wanted to keep a 40's feel sorta but yet still a little modern with safer components, getting close to getting body off the frame. Im mock up my front clip now making sure gaps are right and will start on rolling frame and the frame will be smoothed and painted body color hoping to two tone it top off white and body a cinnamin color, frame cinnamin aswell , so still alot to go but getting closer, Hell most people dont notice all the hard works already done lol the molding and shaving etc now just fine tuning it and paying attention to the details now and along the way makes for a much better end result, Im hoping lol bu thats about it i'll keep ya posted oh exaust i just ordered aswell 3" magnaflow stainless that wil run on the outside of the frame and exit in front of tires so like yours shoul dbe realllllllllly loud lol later dude http://www.billetspecialties.com/itemdetail.asp?cid=16&scid=251&pid=940&rdir=1
I would need someone experienced there no doubt. I have chalked in cut-lines all different ways and found that I would have a 4-5 inch gap I would have to fill right above my rear window for it to look close to the pic. Plan is a subtle chop, about 2 1/2" inch off the pillars .We'll see, I will post some pics as soon as I get it back.
