47 ford needs to loose altitude

iv`egot a question for you a buddy of mine has just bouhgt a standerd striaght six 47 ford four door {full car ,on the road} all he wants to do is bring it down closer to mother earth at the front but not spend to mutch £££ and not have it off the road for more than a weekend or so ,the revers eye spring is the obviuse but the shacels on the front spring go straight down instead of at 45 degrees so if the spring was just reverst it looks like it would fowl the springhanger, so give us your thoughts on the matter and i`ll p*** them on to my mate cheers people
