My '47 Hudson still has the original 212 splasher Six in it. I'm looking to put a V8 in it (NOT a SBC!). I'm looking for pics of any engines in a '42 or a '46-'47 Hudson, including 232/262/308 Hudson Six, big block or old-style Hemi Mopar, or a B-O-P or Cadillac engine, and would like to see Ford engines, too.

    Right now, I have a '69 440 Mopar, a 260 Olds, and have possibilities on a 500 Cadillac engine, a 389 Pontiac, and a 360 Mopar.

    So, whatcha got???

I am placing a 331 dual quad edmunds/header into my 42. I should be starting on it soon. Although I have been saying that for a bit now. Shop got busy so it sits to the side... mocking my every move

Hornets are a good fit in almost any Hudson-nearly bolti in. The 308 is longer than the 212 but those cars were all built to accomodate a straight 8. A Jet isn't much different in exterior size than a 212 but it ain't much better either.
