My 47 Merc is in need of some brake parts. The hub on this car sits on the outside of the brake drum (rears). Everything I see online has hub mounting on inside the drum. Where do I find the right parts?

I don't know abut mercs, but it sounds like the later 46-48 ford hubs with drum inside the hub, and those drums are not being reproduced. You can have your old ones relined, expensive, or switch to 40-41 style hubs and buy new drums from Bolling bros, not speedway

You will need the proper hub puller, too.

Generic pullers have a habit of bending and breaking things.
