G'day guys. First post. I've been reading through posts, admiring projects and learning. I'm building an Aussie delivered 1947 mercury sedan. Here in Oz we were only privileged to four door sedan in mercury and ford and our Aussie bodied ute version of the two. It's been a huge job starting with a bad body but I'm nearly ready for paint . It's been an interesting journey especially when ordering parts from the US. The Aussie cars seem to have plenty of unique to aus components and US parts for 47 just don't fit. It would seem they were shipped over unfinished and finished here with locally made components. Anyway, that's my story so far! Dan.
