Anyone out there know how to make a header for a 239 flathead six? Things like tube size, thickness etc. Any help welcome. Happy Turkey!

I can tell you the size of some 235 headers I have. The 235 has 4 exhaust ports, two of them connect to one cylinder, the other two each connect to two cylinders.

The tubes for the single cylinder ports are 1-5/8" od, the tubes for the siamesed ports are 1-7/8" od. The collectors are 2-1/2" od (there are two collectors). The flange is 3/8" thick. The individual tubes are about 36" long.

I think these are Clifford truck headers. The engine is an OHV design, so you might be able to go a tad smaller on the tube size if the engine you're building is mostly stock. Or not :)
