Gulfstream, that is very nice. I've got the majority of a disc brake set up if you're interested. Needs a spacer made that would slide onto the spindle. I doubt I'm ever going to get to it!

    Heres my newbuild

Sectioned 4 inches going to put it on an S-10 frame. Doing it as a mild kustom kind of like a shop truck from the 50's. With Gene Winfields shop truck coming back out it really gave me some ideas.

I had a real nice 53 back in the mid 70's.....It had a 283 in it, with a power glide.....very nice paint, it was a great driver, and a well respected truck locally.......I sold it to a deaf guy, who later became almost blind and could no longer drive......I offered many times to buy it back, but he wanted to keep it.....he still has it almost 30 years later, and won't sell.... He just likes to go out to the garage to sit in it and think..................fair enough.......

Im running the stock frame with front discs and a ford 9 in back. I channelled the cab floor 6 in and the bed is original height. Ive always thaught the cab sits to high compared to the bed.

Wrecked as in crashed, or wrecked as in somebody put 22" billet wheels and tribal flames on it?

i built my truck to run the hiways 60-80 mph.now i know they were not designed to do this in the first place, but do any of you guy have as much a problem with wind noise as i do? and yes everything has been replaced.it has been awhile but it all looks good. i mean i have A LOT of noise. just something i gotta live with? i have the window shades on the doors, i wonder if could cause some of it.

New door gaskets? New window felt? New sound deadener under the carpet? Anything on the back of the cab to absorb sound?

Wind noise is a fact of life. I just use the flowmasters to drown it out.
