I'm not done with the truck yet, but, here's a pic of the inside of his truck[IMG]. Since this pic was taken we've added a center seat (his mom had to sit somewhere.)

  7. Here is my latest project 50 after getting it lowered a couple of weeks ago. Next step is to find enough good wheels so I can mount my new Firestones and get it running again.

Does this count? I`ll have the real thing someday. Hopefully by the end of the year if things go right. I was going to color it but could`nt decide on a color so I`m leaving it black and white.

My truck is on my ink list for my sleeve piece. Just gotta think of location and what angle. And as for owning a real one someday, just give it time, these trucks are a dime a dozen and are soooo easy to work on. A friend just picked one up for $1600.

It's a 55 Olds grill bar....the width was OK, but it was to deep, so it had to be trimmed, and cut at the right angle to match the contour of the roll pan.....The shoebox tail lights were a pretty good fit.....I often thought of using the front split bumpers off a 56 Pontiac (just the narrow top part that drops at an angle to a round bullet) on the back of the truck.....they'd wrap around the corners of the roll pan, and you could use 48 Pontiac tail lights in the bullet part of the bumper, or run exhaust pipes through them.....
