Got some work done on the '52. Placed the Z28 LT1 in it and working on cab mounts up front and mounting the bumper. Got the rusted parts all but the cab corners replaced. Here's some updated pictures.

I love 54s. The one I saw in Australia in 2006 was a bigger truck (1 1/2 ton dump) near Melbourne. Interesting, I'm pretty sure it still had a split windshield in the front (47-53 cab) but the full 54 front end.

Was it left hand drive? that grill was only on the pickup in 1954 and the start of 55 I think, then they changed shape. Nearly bought a 55 with patina a big block and flip hood but it was sold by the time i made my mind up!

When I do that, it is my gas tank mounts that drag. I am thinking about some drag plates.

Nah, that takes all of the excitement out of dragging. Its not "if", but WHEN you're going to put on an incredible show for all following you. Just make sure the film is rolling, you're sure to be a hit on youtube!!! :D

Titanium or Magnesium is the way to go, you get cool colored sparks that way.

Just finished about six weeks ago. I've made it to the Frog Follies and Shades of the Past events.

For these A.D vehicles I will be the fist to say I am not big on sub-frames. Mainly because I can't get low and still have any turning radius as a result of the width. O'Yea I have to have 8" wide wheels on the front also.

Well that little problem was solved by the previous owner. I bought it as a total basket case except he had narrowed the sub-frame by cutting 4-5 inches out of the crossmember.

I added the SBC, 700R4, 4-Link, Bags all around, and finished the interior and am happy as a new father..............:D

It's a 56.....but I added an additional center bar for strength, and it also makes the truck a little lower at the front.......

Put this one up over my door yesterday. Just to keep the rain off my head.

Gotta live up to the junk brothers name.

PS This was a rough hood off of a 2 ton truck.

Old Faithful got a make over. It was starting to look a little ruff around the edges and a little fender bender (not my fault) made the make over a priority. It's not quite done...gonna change the tires to blackwalls with black wheels and some lettering or something.

Whats the standard wheel size on these trucks? I have a line on some cheap 14's with wide whites but kinda worried they're gonna look too small.

Here is my 50 chevy truck, It has a 1955 chevy 235 motor in it with an offenhouser dual intak manifold with 2 two barrel carbs. Also has a set of fenton manifolds with straight pipe coming out before the back wheels, also im thinking of changing the wheel color any suggestions?
