  11. I was told about a job rated Dodge COE last week, may take a look Saturday. Yard is closed for business but open on Saturday AM for sell-off before the crusher comes. Stuff is all really rusty, so I'm not getting my hopes too high.

    Can relate to that!
The thrill is in the chase. At least that's what I told myself for the ten years I balanced the extra money and viable cabover project equation. Opportunity and funds always seem to have a way of being uncoordinated!

Thanks John, the wait was definataly worth it,now for a ch***is,i was planning on using a Isuzu ch***is like you've done, but the Vic Engineers are very strict on these conversions.I'm hoping I can use a c30 ch***is without moving the s/box,they like orig.

    Afraid I don't.
I did, however, make some new Aussie friends this weekend while visiting the Dallas, Tx area. They were all from Perth. A couple of them will land with us next weekend as they're closing in on RVing across all the 49 states and bouncing thru Hawaii before flying home.

Congrats again on the score. Considering a truck from Ohio, I hope the rust is far more minor than even you are prepared to deal with. Mine is a coastal Houston truck and the rust repair is one of my own primary concerns.

The guy bought it to do what I'm building ,a rollback,so not sure where it came from, only rust is cab corners,so I'm told, anyway the FB site is ,killer coe's and 1 tons , it's only new the site.Nothing compares to the H.A.M.B.that's for sure, but I've seen a few coe's for sale and if your new like me,i'd check it out!

I HAVE HAD 6 ...4 of them I bolted the tie rod, cut the frame behind the cab, and made a trailer and towed them home back wards.. on their front tires/wheels. looked funny, but was effective..

If it's just the cab, no engine, frame, etc... it's prolly not all that heavy.. We unloaded mine mostly by hand at the sand blaster's place.. It was on a 4x4 wooden frame with castors, but the castors proved pretty useless on my weird pipe built trailer so we mostly just lifted it.

If you are trying to load that, get about 3 12 foot long 2x8's put under it side to side go to the local health club, get five big guys with muscles u being the 6th, and walk it on , or stand there while truck backs under it..
