48 Ford gets custom tail lights

    Here is a couple pics of the new tail light treatment on a 48 Ford that I am working on.
    What ya guys think? And yes, that is a Columbia 2 speed rear end under there.

    they are 49 Lincoln tail lights. I rolled sheet metal in a slip roller to get the tunnels.

    They look like '49 Lincoln to me. Also look good in that car.

    Eh...

    I think I'd like em better not tunneled like above. Or frenched without the bezels.

    We thought about flush mounting them like on that merc, but they looked crooked when we mocked em up like that, and the customer wanted them frenched. Overall I am really happy with the way they turned out.

    Nice job/nice ride - those Linc taillights are one of the best factory units ever...and your application is exactly how they should look.

    We weren't planning on doing tail lights, but I got such a good deal on these I couldn't pass em up. The guy loves em now that they are in.
