    Hello -

Found this in a box of parts. Has a faint "Stimsonite" cast into the gl***, and a what looks to be FRST 48 cast in it as well.

    I'm pretty sure that it's from a '48 - '50 Ford. Can anyone confirm?

Worth anything? I have no use for it...

It's a '49/'50 Ford lens. The 'date code' is the year of design/manufacture.......not necessarily the year model of the vehicle on which it was used. My guess is that 'FRST' means Ford Rear Stop Tail. I also would speculate that '49 Fords were initially produced mid/late '48.....accounting for the 48 date code.

  3. '42-'48 taillight lens is the same, and '49-'50 is the same. You have the '49-'50.
