Trying to replace the trunk lid springs and having trouble with one of the center mounts. As I'm trying to replace the springs (w/new bolt kit), one of the nuts that are located inside the support bracket must have been cross-threaded. Thinking that it was old & rusted, I tried a little more pressure trying to unbolt the old spring, but ended up having the nut inside the support bracket turn. Any ideas as to how to prevent it from turning as I try to get the bolt out? There's no way that I can see to prevent it from turning. Many thanks!!
