Background: The time has come for my family to sell my late Father's original Ardun Powered 48 Mercury Convertible. Built by my late Father and Late Grandfather in 1970-71, it has always been stored in our families pole barn. It has won James Dean Top 20 Mercury on many occasions, as well as other awards. Condition: Engine - In good running condition. It does smoke, but from what I understand, that is how the Judson Supercharger is designed. Marvel Mystery Oiler on the firewall used to oil the supercharger. Paint - The car was last pained around 1981. As such, the body has some paint chips. Overall in very good shape for 36 year old paint job. Interior - In good shape. Rubber matt on floor has some damage. Does need brake work (new pads, rebuilt brake assembly, etc) and new tires to be streetable. Body - I know of no patch panels on this car. It is 'All Henry' steel. Additional: Serious Inquiries only please either via PM or to genIIIhotrodder@hotmail.com. While the price listed is a asking price, please do not email or PM me with any ridiculously low offers. We are selling the car because we are not able to put the love and attention to it that it deserves, not because we are desperate for cash.
