History 48 Tucker Survivors?

So we've had some exceptionally weird weather in these parts of upstate New York, but just enough time where it's warm enough to take our 50 ford out for a drive.
While we were coming home, I was talking with my dad and he was explaining to me how rare the Tucker 48's were, and that only a few were left in good condition(46 out of the 51 completed is what the websites say). And to no surprise, the average price for a Tucker is somewhere up at like 1.3 million, hardly ever coming up for auction because of how little are left.
But is there anyone with a Tucker or who knows of a Tucker that hasn't sold to a museum or s****ped? It would be interesting to know how many of the cars are still left in peoples families or underneath the car covers in the garage.

They're all accounted for, along with one currently under construction out of left-over un***embled parts from the factory closing (that guy had to make his own roof and rear doors) and one that was pieced together and then unfortunately butchered into a convertible, with a fake origin story attached to it about how it was a factory prototype (it was not).

One was burnt in a fire and eventually buried under the owner's garage slab (no joke!) and there are quite a few loose unused parts floating around from the factory closing, plus quite a few accessory radios, grilles, and such which were produced to sell to customers but were never needed. But there aren't any of the original completed cars that aren't fully accounted for.

I saw one of Ida's Tuckers at the Syracuse Nats some time back, and was impressed. It was powered by a Cadillac northstar V8 in the rear. Check out Rob's web site for more info.

Light tree- if you want a Tucker, there are a few of the movie cars left. There were 15-20 shells built from fibergl***.
Not sure of their value, there is one that was recently donated to NATM, and it is not bad looking. (I have been around, and ridden in a REAL one) I might be able to get you some pics if you want.

 

I saw #40 a couple weeks ago, and was standing here think just how rare they are.
