49, 50 F-1's

Hey guys just wondering if there are any of y'all that have done any 351w installs on a F-1? I want to put one in my 49, just wondering if there is any advice for me in this area?

My '51 F1 has a 302 (same Windsor block as a 351). I didn't put the motor in, but I'd be happy to send photos if you can think of anything specific you're concerned about.

We're just finishing up replacing the 3 speed w/OD manual transmission with a C6 automatic. There were a few issues with that.

I put a 351W in my '51 F-1. It fit really well with no mods required to the firewall or inner fender wells. You will probably need shorty headers though. I also used a 3spd + OD, I needed to mod the trans crossmember, but it was that was simple enough.
