My H.S. ride, picture taken in 1958. Home made dropped spindles, cut 2 1/2 coils, notched lower A-arms. In the rear I stacked 2" blocks on to 3" blocks. Drove the car all over for 3 years, rode nice, just had to go up driveways at an angle.
Holy **** Holmes!!!! I cant and can belive that you would want to take that frame out from under that car. You did a lot of work on that thing to get it that low. You ever think of just selling that car and starting fresh??? You have any recent pics of your car?? Hit me up sometime, it's been a long time since we b.s'd man. i hope all is well for you!!!! Eric
Stepped lower control arms with a coil and a half removed in the front. Homemade 3 inch blocks and three leafs removed on each side in the rear.
I am doing the same thing to my car. leaving the stock front end and stepping the arms and removing some coils. I am going to 4 link and bag the rear though. I truly hate leaf spring cars when you start to lower them. I know they can be made to work well but I like my cars really low which means leaves out of the pack and then you get real bad axle wrap and ****ty pinion angles and clunks and noises and worn out u joints. I started to install dropped leaves in the car When i was still in San Diego but I realized that It would never sit as low as I wanted it too. and actually Jason your car inspired me to go Real low!!!!!!
Droplord. Your car does sit perfect though. I love that stance on that car. Unfortunately on a fleetline it just doesnt look low enough because the *** end seems taller
