49/53 generator mounting with super dual?

I`ve kinda backed myself into a corner...I`ve got a french block, with 8ba heads and have opted for a super dual manifold...the problem is what to do about mounting the generator.The after market brackets need to mount off the front of the intake manifold, but there is no provisuion for this on the superdual...any easy fix answers?

 

Offy makes an adaptor that mounts on either head. If you don't have an offy catalog, check out Speedway.com or call them. I think the adaptors run like $45 or so. You need to get the longer head studs with this adaptor and they have them also.

Those "on the head brackets" wont work on 8BA heads will they? Isn't the water outlet in the way?

 

The offset gen mount should come with an optional curved metal rad tube so the upper hose ***embly on that side will clear gen and side mount on late heads. It is still a tight fit.
