Gambino installed the suspension on that one if I'm not mistaken. Search his posts....he had a couple threads full of pics and details.

I have a set of radials from diamondback like Boones ride,

and my Firestones. I like the look of the Firestones, I love the ride of my radials.

either way your car is bad as shit. I love the fact that it is not chopped and doesn't need to be.

They are coker classics. I got em shipped to my door for about $430. I kinda got the hook up b/c I was looking at an '07 catalog and the guy gave them to me for the cheaper, older price. The cost of rubber really went up this past spring, so theyre probably more now. I also told him I am on the HAMB and he gave me a discount that almost covered the shipping.:D Coker is an alliance vendor.

In 1975 the original tires were dry rotted when I got the '50 Chevy . I bought a new set of tires at a department store which cost me @ $ 80.oo plus tax for the four. In 2005 I bought a set of Diamonback WW shaved modern radials for @ $800 with shipping.

The Diamonback radials feel like a new suspension was swapped in compared to the cheap bias ply's I drove for @ 30 years!. No more catching a split in the pavement and unpredictable cornering. A big improvemrnt in drivability with good looks.

I´m building 51 Styleline, it is in the paint shop right now and I have some time to think about wheels & tires.. I have set of Coker H78 wide white walls and they should fit fine in my ride, right? How about 15x6 wheels with 3 inch backspacing, does it fit?

Greetings from third gen 18yo greaser from Finland. Awesome rides here guys!!!
This 51 what I´m building, it my grandpas first car, I found it again about year ago. My grandpa was real rebel in his youth, and he pulled my grandma with this 51.. thats pretty awesome! I sold my 59 Apache because this 51... We have also 52 Pontiac Catalina Coupe 2D HT. It is original "Finland-car", one and only... In 1952 GM-dealer sold 2 brand new Pontiac´s from USA to here Finland. 4D and this 2D HT. It´s pretty awesome ride..
Hopefully you guys have answer to my wheel problem...
