Hi all, I'm trying to identify a part that I've never seen before on a 49-54 Chevy car. Can anyone tell me the purpose or name of the reservoir circled in the picture that's inline with the water pump outlet running into the radiator? I'm trying to find a reference for it in my parts manual but I don't know what it is.
Look to see if there are 2 plugs or lines in the rear. Looks to be a transmission cooler on a Power Glide equipped car.
Yep, that's exactly what it is! Looks like it was used for 50-52 PG cars. Thank you for the help and the quick ID.
