I was scrolling down and stopped at the first pic. I started thinking, "Man, he should lose the reverse angle on the rear quarter windows and chop it..." Then I scroll down further and see exactly what I was trying to picture in my head! I need to buy a bigger monitor. Then again, look who's building the car...should never have questioned that in the first place!

I've been busting my *** reworking the rear wheelwells and metalfinishing the p***enger quarter panel all day, so it's a nice surprise to see this thread come back up!

I'm going to try to avoid leaning them back as much as possible, but I think they are going to need to lean back somewhere between +1 to +5 degrees for the back of the quarter window to line up properly. I have an Olds one-piece windshield for the front as well.

Probably going to cut it 3.5" in front and 4" in the back....might go another half inch in the back...not sure until I start cutting. I'm not going to sink the decklid....instead I'm going to pie cut the decklid and rework the rear of the top slightly....on the advice of my friend David Guymon. He also told me how he does his A-pillars...and I'm going to try it his way.

Thanks again for the words guys!

Allright B***, finish up that POS for Dudley and let's get started on that Buick. Just kidding man. That thing is super bad and more inspiration for me on your next project. Like Reggie said, you get better w/ every build and this one is looking over the top. Your styling on the body, not to mention the ch***is work is phenominal. I have seen Jimmy White's stuff lately on the roadster he is putting together for Brian here in Austin and I have seen this ch***is you are doing for the Chevy in person and I gotta say you two guys are the bomb. Man I am just glad I got in line before you got really famous cause that line is about to be super long. Great work buddy.

That ch***is is super detailed, nice bodywork too, I like the chop with the pillars how they are, rear quarter window works well.

The Australian Prime Minister makes the HAMB with his pimpin buddy. It is an election year here, so anything's possible! That's worse than kissing babies... I think.

  18. Simple, clean, well executed. Very cool man, lots of ideas for 49-54 Chebbies there.
