I hope the grille shell is nice and wide and the hood just rolls right into it.

Damn, that looks good! It does flow really nice. I like the fastback chops but most of the trunks look squished. Fantastic job, can't wait to see more updates!

Chop looks great Brian, I took a peek at it last time I was down there. Trunk wasn't done though, but looks like it came out great.

It is redundant to say a great job, but I will add my praise to all the others. I like your approach to the trunk lid, it's innovative and results in a better overall flow. Look forward to the finished car. Long live Kustoms!!!

I spent today working on the rear bumper...It was pretty hard to get the Kaiser guard and bullets trimmed down to fit the bumper, and the bumper brackets were a pain in the ass as well.

The exhaust will exit through the bumper tips.

I'm going to rework (fill) the factory recess in the quarter panel for the stock bumper, and the taillights will sit above the exhaust port portion of the bumper in slightly extended quarters. Still have a few other things to do to the bumper as well...like shave the bumper bolts.

Thanks again for all the kind words guys.

OK, that's what I'm talking about. Man! there is no holding you back. That rear is looking amazing. Exhaust through the bumper, Brilliant! You've got early 50's Custom on the brain. Thanks for sharing this I wish I could see this in person.

From this angle you can kind of see how much the quarters will be extended to match the curve of the bumper. I'm going to make the backside of the Kaiser guard match the body a little better also.

My shop helper snuck into the photo as well...

I have the HAMB Calendar version you can post up in the shop.
I just didn't have the heart to submit it for consideration as it really isn't a tradional bike you know.

You should be really proud of the accomplishments so far. Man what a change. I missed most of these - how don't know, but just went through the total build. What planning! Keep it up, we are all waiting for the next set of pics and tutorial. I know its hard to document a build when you're in the middle but well done.
