Does anybody know what year s10 4x4 axle works the best for the open driveline swap?

 

Any year. They're all the same beyond some may have provisions for antilock brakes.

 

I'd stay away from a 3rd gen camaro rear. it's a messed up style with the torque arm mount and what not.

I say drop that bitch on an s10.

I got one of those tucked away in my sister's garage, waiting for a rainy day.

Be prepared to spend some big cash for floors.

I did all the ones in mine and it was about a grand.

Altough the body on yours is a little more solid than mine.

But then again, mine was free.
