check out the post in techomatic on a jaguar xj front end. They are cheap, big brakes rack steering and built for a 4000 lbs car. i have one im saving for my next custom. my last car had a camaro front clip and it was a fight the whole time.

Mustang II is my vote. I used the Heidt's crossmember in my '53, put it in 10 years ago and have had no issues with it. Easy weekend project if you can weld. The setup drops the front end about 6". My front bumper still clears a standard curb when parked, and nothing rubs. Drives like a race car compared to the stock I beam front end. Use a good torsion bar too.

I used the Heidt's motor mounts for my 350, but I think they ****. There isn't enough rubber in them for an unbalanced engine, and mine is shaking the whole truck apart, which didn't have a single rattle before the swap. I will be changing them out to regular mounts when I can.

Yeah, the Mustang Two or Pinto Two as a buddy of mine calls it is a nice setup, disc brakes, easy to find parts for, smooth ride, I really need to add sway bars front and rear to mine it rolls over like a rollercoaster on tight corners scares the wife. I've also got a truck with a Nova Sub that looks good (Haven't ever driven it yet) and I'm also working on putting one on an S10 Ch***is like SoWhat and the boys. I got the S10 free so it's by far the cheapest swap so far, S10's are all over.
    Good luck.
