[IMG]well today i decided i better start on something easy to warm up for all the body mods,so i figured id fill in these bumper cubby's,thought i'd get both sides done, but i had so many people stop by,so it kinda slowed me down a little.so i only got one side done, but i got everything ready for the other side.yeah, sorry i dont have a website...i hate websites for some reason, but thanks lifestylez for posting those links.ive been building bike after bike for about the last 10 years and im so sick of em i cant see straight! so this is the first car build since i dont know when, back when i was buildin n paintin cars, they were mainly wheelie poppin vw's.glad you are as stoked on this thing as i am!ok,i post more pics now..

[IMG]ok, i gotta kinda planish all this and english wheel it..but i tig'd the whole thing so i should be able to blend it real nice without all the filler rod a mig spits out. i hate mig welders for some reason, but i can see how on a car they'r nescesary.

  22. All I can say is WOW - you made a plane jane '49 Mopar look rad...any you put a Cat 3208 in it? I'm so enthralled... gonna watch this beauty take shape.

    Cool !!
    I really like the windshield.
I messed with that idea on my chopped '49 Fleetline, but never could get it to look right..
Nice job...and good luck on finishing it...

[IMG]so i found this picture i drew like 10 years ago,it was loosely patterned aftwer a 53 chevy which is what i had every intention of buying, but every one i looked at,was between 3 and 4 grand, and in really bad shape. so when i came across the '49 dodge,it was uglier than hell, but i liked the sloped "b" pillar.plus,it was in fairly nice shape.so i figured with enough surgury i could make it look good...kinda the excact opposite of roseanne barr!

[IMG]so i havent had much time to work on much, but i squeezed in a little today,i layed out some radius's to try and make my own headlight buckets, cuz i want to re-shape the whole front end and extend the headlights out further...bear with me,ive never made headlight buckets before..so its gonna be a trial and error deal
