I’d enjoy seeing the tail lights mocked up canted in the rear and also horizontal, maybe with a filler between them. Since you have two sets, chopping one set to narrow it up might be interesting too. I have used chrome trim used to edge tile jobs in my interior. Once relieved of its mounting flange it bends pretty easy and could be used to camouflage your cut lines. Just clamp the two sides together and glue the whole ***embly back together using J-B Weld. The tile trim comes in various widths and profiles allowing for useful edging and profiles.
