There is one main reason for a frame swap of this sort and that is that your original frame is shot or the suspension is so far gone that it isn't worth repairing.
Just say your frame is shot and non repairable, and you happen to have a s10 frame, no money, and are looking for a SAFER BRAKING SET UP. Then you may be safe. I have done the ch***is swaps under more than a few cars and trucks. S10s are nise because you can get them cheap, and evrything is available for them. But i didnt say that....
