49 ford f1 disc brakes

I am converting my f1 front end to disc brakes. Does anybody know if the factory wheels will still fit on the front.

 

YES !!!...I converted to discs up front about 10-12 years ago.....kit used F150 rotors and 5 on 5 1/2" studs.....stock wheels bolt right up....used full size GM calipers ( Caprice)....wheel bearing spacers included....company name is CCP....I believe they are in Connecticut.

 

Thanks for the info. I have picked out a kit from Speedway, it's a little cheaper than CCP. I just wanted to make sure before i bought it. Thanks again

 

Don't s**** the original front brakes, someone here will want them.

 

I used a CPP kit, I do remember though they said you might have some clearance issues with stock wheels (I didn't) but I recall they gave instructions/suggestions on how to overcome fit issues.
