before i bought my 50 caddy ,i almost got a 50 ford project ,and that was the way it was going, to match a model i built years ago, chopped top ,nose up & radiused wheelwells ,something you don't see that often .

This is the interior of that scalloped Ford.
I thought it looked like a '51 dash and figured the front clip had been changed to a '50.
I'm definately no expert on this body style, though.

    49 chop top

I bought that car and finished it made it almost street legal you did a exelent build car went straight as a arrow as soon as I saw the picks I knew you built it i bought it in strongsvill Ohio had a tilt glass front chopped top aluminum int point rear tube front axle long track bars I street raced it 427 chev m22 and 538 gear that thing was light. I think that was in the late 70s. I used 15 inch wide rears. 4in wide fronts. I kick myself for selling that car the 427 was the last motor had 350hp 396 spit a rod out of that one had a 396 375 Hp that was pretty strong. In those days 425hp 427 was big Hp lol that car was white with a black top had plexiglass widows all I had was a tack oil and temp gage. Last time I saw that car it was inside a muffler shop in parma oOhio. It had a sign on the Dr side rear quarter panel. By Rod. Its defenetly the same car i put a 10 gal tank in the trunk and battery back there. Well that's all I know about that one
