I have fallen into a '49 Ford Meteor and the guy wants $8500. It is in very good condition with stock flathead and mustang 4speed. .........oh yeah and the car comes with a spare grille!
Neat ride ! Only one I have ever seen. Well worth it. just think .it won't be a cookie cutter car either.
If it's a driver, it looks like a decent deal. A friend of mine picked up a nice driver '49 Ford Meteor Club Coupe a couple of years ago for $8500. It was done in a 1950's style with a hopped-up flathead and a dark blue exterior/light tan interior. After one season he changed the driveline to a Ford 302 V8/Auto. trans. along with disc brakes from a Ford Granada, with a T.C.I. front end. Between the buying and selling of the parts, he did okay when he sold the car. All in all, $8000 for a driver would be fair. Thanks! Tom - Glass_Packs
