I've got a 1949 Hudson Commodore 6. Very cool old car. Very tiresome drive-train. I'm going to leave the old patina on the car and direct the car to Traditional. I would like to be able to drive this monster 400 miles in either direction of Brookings, SD. Do any of you guys have a recommendation for a non-sbc drivetrain upgrade? engine, trans, rearend info would be appreciated.
has that got the 308 in it if not go that way and get some trick intake if you can and an anti social cam and exhaust.
Since you're new, and with a 49 Hudson, was that the one that went at the auction , what a week and a half ago, up your way? I went up and looked a a maroon 49 coupe that was for sale up there, but didn't bid. Anyway, welcome to the H.A.M.B.
