Thanks! lomofo1949 Matt, the pan was media'd already, the brackets to hold down the teeth are all on point, except for one that has a crack. The teeth are a little pitted, but overall great. Is there anything to do to make less work for the chromer?
My father just had his teeth dipped on his 50 Merc convert and I asked the chromer the same question your asking about the prep, he basically said just leave them it really wouldn't effect the price that greatly. His by the way was in WAY worse shape then yours, judging by the pics. those teeth can really get some deep pits. OH Im not sure if it really matters but I took my die grinder and marked each tooth on the back side in the order i took them off, I wasn't sure if the teeth were all the same. Brent
no not really, pot metal sucks, if thea re pretty solid, just make sure you have them in the hands of a good plater..ive been using a guy recently who is not to bad on price and the stuff is looking pretty damn nice..

A few months back, I also picked up a 51' Dash from a fellow HAMBer, Chefbiz62. Plan on keeping the 49' and cleaning her up.
Those 51 dashes are ugly, its probably takin up valuable space so come over and leave that pile with me.
