Don't know if you guys remember,but this the car that Matt had to cut the ALREADY CHOPPED top back off and re-chop it! It was lower on one side and crooked too.

 

WOW!! That is a soul cleanser after looking at that Mercedes eyed abomination.

thanks for the reply's everybody, its a 2006 chrysler color forget what its called. yep lots of hours in fixing stuff. when it was originally brought to me i told him he wou be better off cutting his loses and finding another one.!!!

GREAT! Really nice to see the update, it sure is looking good.

 

Man...this one turned out great Matt ! Awesome work.The sextioned (no typo) bumper guards look nice.How about a dead-on front shot ? I just got my guards back from the chromer last week...hmmm.However.I'd suggest a rear '49 bumperguard overrider for the front,that would make it perfect but pssst,don't tell anybody...again,great work Matt.Thanks much for sharing !

 

All I can say is WOW! Everything is right about this car. The stainless trim is perfect, an outstanding chop, the tail lights are a work of art, the paint is a perfect color, the chassis is low but not rediculous, but what gets me the most is the overall cleanliness, subetly, and attention to detail. What a great job. This level of work separates the men from the boys.

here ya go Frenz, that is the only one i got, when i was still doing the fitting. ya would of been nice to have the 49 over riders on there. not sure if these ones came with the car or he picked them up during the build. when it came back to me the front bumper was buckled in the middle from them forcing it on. not sure if they warped it at the plater or what but i had to do some good tweaking to get it to fit.. another one saved that is what i like to see....

The travel of suspension at full lift puts the merc a little above stock height in the front and lifts that rear skirt about 8" or so of the ground. the color is definately a little different, originally he was going to go black then decided on this color. im looking forward to seeing the interior all done. if it was up to me i would do everything the red color, but i think he plans on putting some of the beige in there in the pleats i believe. interior is supposed to start on monday so hopefully everything goes good on that note and gets then she gets her paint detailed before the GNRS!!! and of course i will be there with my rusty,non-chopped, dented, broken glass, bullet holed, patched seats, overheating flathead merc....but hey its all good!!

If I were to build me a Mercury , I would try to build it around this one. The Stance, the color choice, the details, etc.... Nothing's been overlooked and it shows GREATLY!!

I wish he would change his mind on the interior color. Guess we'll have to wait and see it...

It's not that. He wants it cream and red! YUK!!! That will look bad with the outside color,I think. If he shot the dash the same color as the outside and did the whole interior with that cream color on the bottom of the dash,it would look much better.
