Technical '49 Merc Lower A arm inner shaft install question

I am replacing the lower A-arm inner shaft bushings on my '49 Merc. Is there any thing special I need to know for re-installing to get/keep the inner shaft properly spaced when the bushings are tightened down? Any install secrets?
