Got a little more done this weekend.Raised the tranny cover, mounted, and hooked up the shifter.Had help from my crew!!
Thats a Realy cool looking Chop not to Low just right as far as lowering it I don't like it I like to see the Wheels like in my Avatar but its up to the owner what they want it will be on the Road soon just keep up the Good work
I'm saving the cover pic, cause I have to do the same thing with mine. My tranny hits the cover too. I think I am just gonna add 1" around the whole bottom then extend the front to meet where the angle starts. The kids in the window is classic!!!
love the deck lid, hate for some door knob on a tenspeed bicycle to rear end you, you'll be picking him out of your trunk with a vacuum cleaner, preferably a wet and dry vac of course.
Bob...Direct Sheetmetal is just down the street from me, Dave makes some really nice tranny covers. He'll make it to your dimensions and he gives me a pretty good price on them. Let me know...
Say Dustin...good to see you're getting closer on your Merc! I have a pretty nice deck lid in storage if you decide that you want a stock lid. Not sure if you wanted the louvers or if that was just something that you found.
Workin on it Eat shit a-hole I don't think I'm gonna run it,I think its too much, don't seem to flow.It will make a cool wall hanger though Thanks Chuck,Mick's got one he's gonna hook me up with.Really appreciate it though
I gave the trunk deck to Travis, He said that he would sell it too ya. I was driving my Merc home last night and I thought I saw ya out driving yours. Hopefully that will happen soon. Hollar if ya need some help. Happy Trails, Mick
Come on, work, work, work! You have two weeks to have it driving it's own self down the street to some kinda get together I understand will be be in your town. You can do it man! Mine is aaaalllllmmmmmost back together and will be there....wiring nearly complete, but still have to set up the shift linkage and plumb/bleed the brakes.
I wish that I was smart enough to figure out how to post video of Dustin's Merc. If you go to You Tube and type in John Force. That is what his Merc sounds like. It is as bad as she looks. Very kool!! We are very excited for Dustin to get his Merc on the road. It has been three years and a lot of hard work. This is the secret for Dustin's success. He just had to wait a few years so he could help out. "Dad, put the camera down and get back to work!" Kongrats Dustin! Happy Trails, Mick
If you get a YouTube account you can directly upload vides from a smart phone or from a Photobucket account. Is the car bagged? Let's see that vid.
