49 plymouth help

    where can i get a set of dropped uprights for my plymouth with stock brakes?

    Only place I have seen them is Fatman Fab. I think you may HAVE to use disc up front tho. Can I ask why you want to keep the original brakes?

    Ply-Do has em, I think.
    They do not have a web presence, and the owner passed on last year.

    fat man has them but they're spendy. and you have to heat and bend the steering arms. you can get a 2" drop by moving the spring plate on the lower control arm to the bottom and cut a coil off the spring and you end up with like 4" off drop. the steering is so fucked on those its no hardly worth putting spindles on.

    well im baggin the car but i just want to make sure i can get it all the way in the weeds. the bottom arm plate im making a new one to mount the bag on and its going to be on the bottom of the arm.

    Here is my 49 bagged with stock spindles. This past winter i C notched the frame over the rearend and now it will lay frame in the rear. I haven't done the front yet because the oil pan will drag if i do.
